These will be the predominant sail colours gracing
the waters of the Milnerton Aquatic club in Tableview, Cape Town on
the 16th and 17th of March 2002.
The organising committee of the 5th MAC
24-Hour Endurance Dinghy Challenge is very proud to announce an
exciting new addition to the upcoming 2002 event: The Mirror
Class
Over the past four years, the three "Jack
Holt" classes (Enterprise, GP14 and Bosun) have always enticed
great fun, competition and team-spirit, and it would be so
appropriate to introduce another very popular "Jack Holt"
design to this unique annual event.
The four dinghy categories will be competing for
individual class records and trophies as well as overall honors
based on the Portsmouth Handicap System.
As 2002 will be the Mirror Class debut year
for the 24 Hour Endurance Race, a new World distance target will
obviously be established and without doubt this will issue an
irresistible challenge for future record breaking attempts.
